* first he calls, waits for God to answer, and then He obeys.
A: I need to be more like the Psalmist. I need to call on God, wait for Him to answer (no matter how long it takes) and then obey. Too often I call on Him and then take matters into my own hands.
P: God, I want to have the demeanor of the Psalmist. I want to have his heart and ability to obey You. You have given me all I Need for life and godliness, so why do I always seem to do it my way? Open my eyes and ears to be able to hear and see You clearly!
