S: Those who devise wicked schemes are near,
but they are far from your law.

and all your commands are true.
152 Long ago I learned from your statutes
that you established them to last forever.
O: * Because of God's love for me, He hears my voice.
* long ago the Psalmist learned God's ways and since God doesn't change, he knows He will see him through.
* Because God hears, He will answer and that brings hope.
A: Verse 149 says that God hears because of His love. That affects the way I pray (or at least it should) because I know He is listening and hearing as I call. Since I believe He hears I can pray openly and honestly. This changes the way I ray because I can be real and I can trust He is doing what He knows is best because He has heard me. It allows me to trust Him more.
P: God, I know You hear when I pray because of Your love and care toward me. This encourages me and motivates me to be honest and real with You because You are actively listening to me. Your love makes me love You!
