164 Seven times a day I praise You,
Because of Your righteous judgments
O: * The Psalmist likens God's promises to that of finding great riches.
* Despite the persecution, he has peace and trusts God
* He has to continually take time to praise God and remember He is in control (7 Times a day).
A: I don't always think of God's Word as great riches, but I should. I take it for granted often times. I know that if I did not have the Word, I would be lost. I never want to forsake it and take it for granted. It is the most precious thing I have. And, I need to practice what the Psalmist did: continually surrendering to God, as many times as it takes. Moment by moment if I have to. Seven times a day or seventy times a day, whatever it takes.
P: God, I often surrender myself to You in the morning and then I don't think of it again the rest of the day. Some days I need to surrender moment by moment....remind me who I am and who You are continually! I need You!
