Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
I have sworn and confirmed that I will keep Your
righteous judgements

God's word guides our feet
His word lights up the way
I may want to obey, but only God in me can I do so
A-
I must be in God's word to know what His way is. I must
seek Him out through His word daily to know whether I am off the path
Though my heart may desire to keep God's commandments, and
I can make all the vows I want, to keep God's word, but only is it
when I am in God's word diligently am I able to be convicted and through
the Grace of God His word will light up the path and show me I am off of it.
P-
Lord, keep me always walking on the path to Your righteousness. Let me not stray,
make me forever hungry for Your word, that when I am outside Your will Your word will
light up the path I belong on and guide my feet, my heart and my mind back to it.
